CAPITOL PALACE HOTEL AND GARDENS AND THE CARNIVAL

Buffalo meat, crocodile meat… rabbit meat… name it!

Whichever of these exotic meats you want, you can get a taste of all these and more at the cost of fifty thousand Uganda Shillings at the Carnival.

Yes, am talking a buffet of all these meats… whichever you want at the cost of fifty thousand Uganda shillings.

I used to think I could only find such places in the outskirts of the city, or at the countryside, but going to Capitol Palace Hotel and Gardens in Naguru made me realize I had it all wrong.

I don’t know whether it was the African traditional like setting or the African artifacts, coupled with the beautiful fauna and flora that had an effect on me, but when you get there, you will get the feeling that this is a beautiful place for a weekend get away.

Right from the wall hangings in the rooms, to the beautiful sculptures in the gardens, to the bed sheets in the guest rooms, the carpets, the lamp stands, to the serviettes, seat covers and dining table cloths, you will feel the African Culture.

This place is truly a hidden get away with beautiful gardens; gardens that would make a great venue for a wedding, a get together, a birthday party… name it.

This place is a great place for anyone who loves to keep their privacy.

The Hotel and Gardens are located in the middle of the city.

However, you wouldn’t even realize this, until you exit the premises, by a distance of about 100meters.

It’s about 100 meters from the main road.

When you go there at lunch time, or after office hours, it’s only the noise of hooting vehicles and tracks in traffic that will remind you that you are still in the city center.

The Capitol Palace Hotel also has a buffet which includes breakfast, tea and lunch, all at the cost of thirty five thousand Uganda shillings. This is great especially for those that want to access their conference facilities.

They do have affordable conference facilities and affordable wedding packages.

They also have affordable office space up for rent.

Okay, enough with the talking already; let the pictures do the rest of the talking.
